Travel Time Stories Introduces Classic Children's Stories on Custom Audio CDs

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 16, 2007 -- Travel Time Stories introduces collections of classic children's stories and music on personalized custom-made audio CDs, designed to entertain young children during family travel times.

Traveling with young children should be fun but is often a challenge. Long trips in the car or by plane are frequently stressful, and unexpected delays add to the stress. Travel Time Stories has introduced customized audio CDs full of classic children's stories to keep children entertained throughout the journey, reducing the stress on their parents and their fellow travelers.

"When our children were young, we had many family vacations that started and ended with long car trips or cross-country flights," remembered John and Cathie Ellis, founders of Travel Time Stories, "Our children were always happiest on these trips listening to their favorite stories over and over again on an old CD player. The travel time would pass much faster for all of us."

"We've recently been on long flights with unhappy, bored kids sitting nearby; we watched their stressed parents trying valiantly to entertain them, while nearby passengers glared their displeasure at the children and their parents."

Thinking back to what worked for us in similar situations, we came up with the idea for Travel Time Stories: record some of the all time favorite children's stories, along with personalized introductions using the child's name to tell him or her what to listen for, match each story's introduction with a classical music excerpt, and then put the child's name on the CD label to make each CD unique and easy to distinguish from other CDs.

Travel Time Stories has introduced three volumes of classic children's stories, including Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, Show White, The Ugly Duckling, Cinderella, The Emperor's New Clothes, and many more. These stories have entertained generations of children and can quickly become favorites of children today.

Story introductions feature music by Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Handel, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Glinka, Von Webber, and several other composers.

The stories will appeal most to children from five to ten years old. They have been adapted from the original text to replace some of the archaic language, but the story lines have not been softened. For example, in Little Red Riding Hood, the Wolf does not get taken to the zoo.
